Another Season in the Books!

The LPRT closed out the 2024-2025 season in dynamic fashion. Legendary player, Paola Longoria (MEX), claimed her monumental, 14th season-ending, #1 ranking. She was named this season’s “Athlete of the Year.” Meanwhile, the final two events were won by the two athletes who tied for the season-ending #2 spot, Montse Mejia (MEX) and Maria Jose Vargas (ARG), respectively. Rounding out the top 4 season-ending ranked players is Gaby Martinez (GUA), who finished with a semi and final appearance at the final two events. Each of these top four won events this season.

2025 Arizona Open a Roaring Success at ASU

empe, Arizona – Arizona State University was an ideal host site for the 2025 Arizona Open presented by The Madison Trust. The energy and excitement in the building was unmatched, as ASU students, a full onslaught of competitors of an annual girls’ volleyball tournament, the amateur event participants, as well as many fans and family members watched and cheered for the athletes of the LPRT. We also had student athletes from ASU and NAU racquetball teams cheering on the LPRT, as the event proceeds would benefit their team’s travel expenses to the USA Racquetball National Intercollegiate Tournament.
